A Halloween-themed 5k, 10k & Kids 1k.  Costumes are strongly encouraged! 



WHEN?
October 27, 2018 



WHERE?

San Buenaventura State Beach, 901 San Pedro Street, Ventura, CA 93001 (see Home page for map of location). 



WHY?
To raise funds for the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) Scholarship Program, which provides scholarships to residents of the HACSB’s public housing/affordable housing communities, and participants/household members of the Housing Choice Voucher program who are attending/will be attending a four-year college/university, community college, or technical/vocational school in the fall. 



What’s the cost?
5k - $25 through July 31; $40 on/after August 1


10k - $35 through July 31; $50 on/after August 1


Kids Fun Run - $10 through July 31; $20 on/after August 1 

Prices increase August 1 at 12:00 am



What will i get?
ALL participants receive a race bib, t-shirt, professionally timed results, finisher's medal, goody bag, and lots of post-race refreshments.
***T-shirts and medals cannot be guaranteed for registrations after October 1, so please register early!***



IS RACE-DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE? 

Yes!  Race day registration will be available at 7:15 am.  Only debit/credit cards will be accepted.



are race fees refundable?

No, race fees are not refundable; however, you may transfer your registration to someone else or defer to next year. Please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" tab if you are interested in this option.



will top finishers receive a prize? 

Yes, awards will be given to the top three overall 5k and 10k finishers.



When can I Pick up my race packet?

where can i park?
Limited free parking is available on San Pedro Street and in the Pierpont neighborhood.  You may pay to park in the San Buenaventura State Beach lot; the parking fee is $10. 
Please note that the parking structure is approximately 1.5 miles from the start line, so the best place to park in on San Pedro/Pierpont residential area.  We encourage you to carpool if possible, as parking is beryl limited.  



when will race results be available? 
Vendurance will display results on a screen as participants finish the race.  Additionally, results will be linked on our Facebook page, and all participants will receive an email with a link to the results on Saturday afternoon!
